Nostalgia

Sitting here,
Reading through page after page of memories,
I look back at the suffering I could only express through words,
To people I've never met, nor indeed shall ever meet.

And I think; "Why?"

Why should anyone have to feel like that?
Of course, time is a healer.
We all know that.

But does it really heal everything?
Or does it just push it all down,
Leaving it to fester and rot.

And scars.
Time obviously doesn't heal those.
So, even if emotionally we're fine,
We still have those little memories to remind us of the past.

And so I put my question to you.
What is the use of time, if all it does is expand?
I mean, looking forward now, life seems like a long time.

That's if its an average span..

But if its not? Then again, what's the point of time?
Why set a limit to something so.. wrong.

Why not just end it now?

Most of this doesn't make sense. I started off with one central idea and sort of.. added others while carrying on. Meh, I quite like it.

Mike man!

Mike is back! Wonderful! You know, some of our thoughts don't make sense. However, this is a good poem. It's like us, the world, can see inside your brain and get a sneek peak at what generates your thoughts and ideas...

Ooo, I'm lovin it! Great to see you back man!

x] Hey Meri. Long time eh? xP Nah, I've stopped writing I guess. Every so often I get an idea.. But yeah. I've gone back to drawing again ;D Thanks for the comment, though. Glad you liked it =]

Hey.. I love this so much. Life's little unanswerable questions: Why wait for the inevitable? Time's like a slow ticking bomb or a pop-up on your computer saying, "OMMGGG A SECOND HAS JUST GONE FROM YOUR LIFE." It sucks. Anyway, I love it.
