New Life
18 September, 2006

A new life, now i can finally breathe,
now i can finally see, how a girl should be treated.
too many times i cried,
too many times thought about what it would be like if i wasnt here,
but someone saved me.
someone so dear has came into my life.
life being unhappy is like having no life at all,
life with passion and love is like nothing i have ever felt before.
life with a spirit and a goal is more encouraging now,
and i feel like i have a purpose.
Our paths become more diverse,
you remember the past, all bad an good,
Recall the times through your life,
this man who had helped me, he has been the greatest,
the rock, the shoulder, the strength i need,
i know feel awakened, and new.
i feel like a new person, no longer pushed in the corner,
now i feel like im in center stage,
but you broke down my wall
not allowing me to hide.
I thought no one would wake me up
to a love that can be true
I thought that I’d be broken forever
until, of course, the day I saw you.
My love for you has taken over.
My love for you still grows.
The more I learn about you, the more I want to know.
a new life, a new story, a new chance at life, an new time to shine.
