Sometimes life is rough,
We are told to be tough.

Hard to be tough with no preparation.

A past that was made of disruption.
gives determination.

When you are used to strife,
It prepares you for life.

Hi Barb

Yes -- they do say that if you have strife in your life, you can cope better with anything that comes along. I also think you are more understanding to other people's problems.

The funny thing is

it's the hard times in life that shape us the most. Trials give us the opportunity to rise above and become the best we can be. They also make us appreciate the good times more.

Hey Lady B! Splendid poetist! Your opinion rules. It's straight. To the point. No sugar-coding. No corner cutting. Strife does prepare you for life. Experience is a teacher!

Wonderful Barb!
