My Heart Still Skips A Beat
1 October, 2006

Leaves floating by, the wind on my face
I turned to cross the street and there you waved at me

I do admit, my heart did skip a beat

I never thought it would happen, my knees became weak
You put your arms around me and the memories flooded me like a river in the rain

"I miss you so much" my heart rang out
But I never made a sound

You told about her, the house, the job

It wasn't like before, it never will be

You walked away, waving and smiling

I do admit, my eyes teared up a bit
A helpess feeling feeling washed over me...

As you left me there to cross the steet
