We had a connection.
Inseparable, we were two.
Unlike anyone else,
So close me and you
You were the wild one,
A party happening inside.
But still had the time to listen
And I could confide.
I wanted a fairytale life,
You wanted to have fun.
You went on raging
When my life had begun.
We grew apart,
As friends do.
No more time for me,
Only you.
You’ve got your fun
And got your rage.
I’ve got my fairytale life,
But there’s another story on this page.
I smoke my dope,
Yeah that’s fine.
But you take the powder
And you do it all the time.
I never believed the future
Would turn out this way.
I thought you had more sense,
But I guess I don’t know you today.
You snort and you sniff,
You cough and you choke.
But you think you’re stupid
If you smoked dope.
I know you have a past.
Demons in your mind,
But that stuff will not
Help you unwind.
I sat next to you,
A barrier was put up.
You live with an enemy
And your friend is a slut.
Boys, boys, boys!
Your house has a name,
But you crank the music
Having no shame.
Speeding off of your head,
Sleeping 2 hours a day.
What have you done to your self?
How can you live this way?
