She doesn't know how I feel,
I believe it but its so unreal.
The most beautiful thing in the world to me,
A human being, but heavenly.
I've loved her since I first laid eyes on her,
An angel sent to earth.
All these years I have been a friend,
Keeping my feelings bottled within.
I want her to know how I feel,
The love I have for her,
The way I care for her.
The way I hurt when she hurts,
But how can I tell her,
For she loves another,
This she has confided in me,
But her feelings towards me remain a mystery.
How can I tell this lovely creature,
My true feelings towards her.
I want to be more than friends,
I want to be hers forever,
I want her for the rest of my life,
Her and no other.
See, how can I share that,
Without changing our friendship or how we interact.
If she feels differently,
She will not act the same with me.
For she will always know that how I truly feel,
Is much different than what her feelings for me would ever be.
So let me end this sorrowful rhyme,
Of my fears and desires,
By saying that I will never lose hope,
And the hope that someday we will be together,
Will keep me alive.
And just so she knows,
Though these words will never reach her eyes,
With all of my heart, soul, and mind,
With every fiber of my being,
For ever and all time,
"I Love You."
