Pale Night
26 November, 2006

My demons are the winged terrors of the night.
The invaders come riding the black cloak of darkness.
The treacherous bombs come crashing through.
The raging storm is battering my soul.
My hours are filled with hunger and cold.
I heard my own torturous screams echoing.
The darkness of my despair embraces me.
My heart weeps on this bleak winter's night.
