thanks caty I love both and had both but a dog I noticed wanted to make me happy. I have a cat now and do esn't try to impress me. I have to go to her and yes they are independent, a kitty litter box, food and a place to sleep is all they want.

As you know Barb, I have had a lot of dogs over the years adn they do like to be friends with you. My dog Max will lean against your leg so you'll make a fuss of him -- or roll on his back so you'll tickle his tummy. He loves to feel involved in everything.

LOL! I love all animals, but I am so a cat person and not a dog person. Here we go. Now I have to post my poem dog trouble!
