I Lost Myself
28 January, 2007

You slowly crawled into
my soul, killing me
with your love, drowning
me with your lies, and
I walked through it all
deaf, dumb and blind.

You led me right into the
flames of heartache, and it
burned me to the bone.
Your love turned me inside
out and upside down.

Your sweet lips deceived
me, and your tender
touch crushed me.
And still I stayed
lost in you, not able
to breathe on my own.

You became a disease
sucking the very
life out of me.
I became lost, and
detached from the
one who truly
loved me, "Myself".

Pulverized & Infected a Peaceful Soul..

Tammy, you are an amazin' person, you have written what many may have experienced or will experience , be it a man or a woman. wouldn't it be nice to touch that perfectness of a loved one gone away to heaven once again? savin' us such heart ache and pain..
