Love You But Don't Like You

I love you for your humour,
I don't like you for your inconsideration.
I love you for your understanding.
I don't like you for your disrespect of others.
I love you for your caring.
I don't like you for your self-centeredness.
I may not like what you do, but
I LOVE WHO YOU ARE.

We sometimes forget that love and like are two seperate emotions. You can love someone ... but not like them.

Sometimes it's hard to separate people's negative or even cruel actions from who they are as a whole. Great message, Barb.
