The High Road
Author: Catyrose

Something very odd happened today
Without a moments notice
All of my careís were mysteriously whisked away

I looked in the mirror
And a new person I did see
Who no longer resembled that helpless victimized old me

I felt empowered to carry on
Somehow I felt that I belonged
To no else, just simply me
Enjoying the idea that I choose to be free

Free of the negative thoughts that filled my head
Free of constraints imposed by a few
I suddenly realized that itís out with the old and in with the new

From this moment on I have the power to choose
What I take in and what I throw out
Itís all up to me, what this life brings about

No one has power over my being
My thoughts and life are now my own
A positive, powerful new path I have been shown

Thank you Barb

I try to be positive, not always successful at it. But i firmly believe that your thoughts direct your actions. You're right attitude is the key. thanks for taking the time to read and comment. Take care
