His Rain Shall End
25 April, 2007

It’s always reigning on my day
Every time he comes around
And I can’t see over the clouds
All these black eyes and bruises
Will just fade away
Years of torment and miscommunication
Adding up to one date
All there is now is to wait
For the day he dies
But only to my mind
Miles from here he’ll lie
Dead in mine own eye
Finally an end I can see
And a new life will begin
Freedom is near
She is here, thank you
She’s what I needed for years
And now she’s here
To quell my leaking eyes
