Tiptoe To Dreamyland

Ssh don't say a word,
my darling breathed I swear I heard.
Her sweet murmur just a second ago,
the one that by heart I know.

Cradling her in my embrace,
as I feel her breath upon my face.
In and outside she makes me quake,
why oh why won't she wake?

Nestling in closer than I've ever been,
I pray to God that this isn't a dream.
The start of her sleepy kiss she now gives to my cheek,
as I feel the back of my knees go weak.

Fingertips caress the length of her spine,
as I breathe in the beauty of this lady of mine.
Though it's dark I feel her smile,
two hours she's been asleep it seems such a while.

Soft lips hunger to feel hers once more,
but my girl she lays sleeping as in silence I adore.
The lady that always had my heart,
the one that I waited for right from the start.

I glance at the clock and it's just gone three,
I turn to let her sleep and within seconds she's spooning with me.
Smiling like I can't stop as she reaches for my hand,
entwined in sleepy murmurs as we TIPTOE TO DREAMYLAND!!!

Almost etherial

That's a very good poem about a great subject. In the final 3 lines, have you fallen asleep and started to dream?
