Tear don't fall,
as I build up this wall.
That will protect us from anymore pain,
I swear I'll never let love in again.

Fighting the tears,
as her icy words pierce me like spears.
She can't break through this wall that I've built,
courage I beg you please don't wilt.

Cry no more,
time to let go.
Though it's hard,
I must find my guard.

Shielding my heart,
from being torn apart.
For I cannot allow her that close to me,
my weaknesses no more can she see.

Head up high,
as from my mouth escapes a sigh.
I know deep down that I can grow from this heartache,
and that time for me will mend each break.

Harder I try,
to not allow my eyes to cry.
Deep down though I am falling apart,
sssh we'll be okay I WHISPER TO MY HEART!!
