The Casino Queen

She dawned her gawdy glittered blouse
and threw on her dusty wig,
she opened up the bottle
and took herself a swig.

The mailman came the day before
and brought a little bit.
So she'd take the bus to town tonight
and make the most of it.

With a pint of whiskey in her purse
and dollars in her hand,
she'd find the one to make her rich
and there she'd make her stand.

Time has passed, our queen is gassed,
the pint is all but gone.
She's missed her bus, so what's the fuss
she'll play till early dawn.

Wheel Of Fortune was the name
of the game she played that night,
and when they took her picture
she had to look just right.

For she'd won $1,000,000
and she holds her bottle high,
So here's cheers to you, the casino too,
and the man up in the sky!
