Just Dreaming Of You by Del

The lake is serene, the waters so blue,
I sit at the shore, dear, just dreaming of you.
The fleecy white clouds are having such fun
Playing hide and go seek with the warm summer sun.

So gently the waves are fondling the sand
Like the soft sweet caress of a lover's hand.
Children all around me, so carefree and gay,
Rejoicing in the splendor of this heavenly day.

These wonders of nature go on endlessly
Like my love for you, that forever will be.
I love you so, darling, and miss you so too.
Oh, why must I go on just dreaming of you?

How this poem, made, me feel...,
As if, my soul became a poet's pen, I gently touch your heart, with changing thoughts that show no trace, for I'll not share my love for you with anyone.

Like sea blown waves writting upon the sand, each thought I have of you, will change and become a new, thought of love for you, written as a secret, in the blue water, sea washed sand.

Forever being reborn, and foever being cleansed, by sea born waves, like my poet's pen, I write no words for all to see, only thoughts, I share with you and hope that you feel.
