I know this girl,
by day she gives blowjobs,
but at night she cries slow sobs;
Cryin' about her memories past,
and how she'll never outlast her cries.
We all knew her for her thighs,
but never worried about the stories in her eyes.
How her first daddy left her,
and her step-daddy beat her.
She baby-sat her little sister sometimes
with nothin' to feed her.
Sickened by the things she did to feel whole,
knowing she has lost all self-control.
Noticing her little sister
doing the same things she does,
and she'll keep doing,
until she's busted and convicted by the Fuzz...
but that's the way it goes,
when you got no place to run.
Her fun days are over,
her true life has just begun.

Interesting.....

Good poem Zach, yes all too often we look only at the actions and not the reasons behind them. We are all to ready to judge one another. Good write and good message.

no way to say....

no way to say how impacting this is, Zach...
strong emotional visuals...
excellent play of words...
you are an artist and the print is your brush, the empty page your canvas...
