You Don’t Have To Wonder
9 June, 2007
Author: Ing Twi Demalah
What would it be like to really be happy
To have someone looking out for you
Someone who is concerned how you feel
To hold you when you are sad and lonely
And who makes you smile when you’re down
Who takes care of you when you are hurting
Someone who will be a friend and a lover
Someone who will appreciate just how thoughtful you are
Who chases away the darkness when you are scared
And when you cry is there to kiss away your tears
Someone to laugh with you, share with you
Who is sweet enough to romance you
And still strong enough to protect you
Who holds you just for the joy of doing so
One who deals with others compassionately
And who loves you with all his heart and soul
Who makes you feel needed, loved and whole
A gentleman, like in days before
Well my sweet,
you don’t have to wonder anymore

I am glad you liked this poem, I was not sure about it myself, but I liked the point I was making. Thank you again Barb. As always your words are kind and encouraging. Like a gentle rain upon flowers. |
