The Long And Lonely Night

So slowly the sun is decending,
So soon the day will be ending,
And then---the long and lonely night.

Alone am I with thoughts of you,
Wondering how I'll see it thru,
The never ending---long and lonely night.

The days are not so hard to bear.
Since now I know you really care.
But then---the long and lonely night.

I go to bed, but just can't sleep,
My thoughts of you are oh, so deep,
All thru---the long and lonely night.

I pray that some day soon you'll be,
Right here, darling, holding me.
For then there'll never ever be,
Another lonely night for me.

BRAVO! BRAVO!

I loved this poem alot, it was so true when it seems to relate to people who are truely in love, but not with each other all the time. Is that what it is? If so or if not, I think all and all it was perfect. :D
