You are cordially invited to dream a dream with me.
Oh, I'd be so excited if in my dreams I'd see,
Your dear, sweet face, your laughing eyes,
Your smile so warm and true.
I know I'd make you realize that you still love me too.
All thru the day I think of you,
No one else but you,
Then at night, you're out of sight,
And this will never do.
Those dreams at night are empty,
Your face I never see,
So here's an invitation to dream a dream of me
