The Baby In The Cradle

The baby in the cradle
Is embraced and cuddled by many
The rosy cheeked angel
Always sleeps in harmony.

It clings to its mother’s hand
And holds it with all its might
The little one is loved by many
Its laughter is everyone’s delight.

Babies are tiny creatures from heaven
Sent by God from a million miles
Its sheer presence destroys sadness
Brings joy, laughter and smiles.

It knows nothing about despair
All it can do is cry and laugh
If things can change your life forever
It’s a baby’s smile that warms your heart.

If you want to be the baby in the cradle
You must always tell the truth
Life would then remain a grand spectacle
Like a seed that turns into a fruit.
