Sitting Alone
4 August, 2007

Most of the time I sit alone
And it doesn't bother me a bit
But sometimes I need to have a friend
Though out loud, I would never admit

I miss having someone to talk to
About things like emotions and life
Sometimes it would be better
To share happiness instead of the strife

But no matter which direction I look
My friends cannot be found
Too far away, kids sports and work
Keeping them homeward bound

Maybe some time they'll need me again
Hopefully I will have the time to share
So they don't have to feel this way
Feeling alone cause no one's there
