Once upon a journey
around the milky way
a man and man were walking
they thought they'd gone astray

they walked on until morning
which it was the whole time through
and when they stopped to think
each thought it; 'I love you'

and though it seemed to them
they'd lost that perfect path
they found it to be different
they didn't fear God's wrath

because they'd gone around
the universe so grand
the thing there to save them
was they did it hand in hand

and love became the answer
to mystify everyone's mind
through it all they came to know
God, to them was kind
