Do we really have a purpose,
Set out to live our lives?
For what reason?
Did someone already tell us what we have to do,
And the world made our orders corrupt?
Did we just forget it?
Is that why we evolved to what we are now?
When survival wasn’t enough, we rebelled and grew.
Man took over and set its own path.
Darwin was right,
Survival is only for the fittest.
When did we become out own god?
When our conscience developed?
Able to provide out own directions.
Almighty was never a heavenly figure,
All the time it was money,
God was only collecting it for us.
Working is what keeps us alive
When we stop working we die.
Only the lazy die young
Left alone to do harmful things.
Jimi was proof.
When you mix work with play
You get a harmful combination
Fun eventually takes over,
And the meaning is no more.
Life isn’t a means of existence
But a means of pride
With life you will live on
Even in the hearts of those who take no notice.
You will always live on
If you try to live
If you plan not to care
Why don’t you just get it over,
And look up to the sky?
(Although you won’t remember the color.)
