I Try To Keep Positive by Hope

Continuation I hoped for
I had written nothing new
Many unfinished poems
Nothing much I could do

Its this over active mind
Thoughts sent to and fro
Verses being set aside
Awaits to follow the flow

I feel like I am stranded
On the paths to nowhere
While needing an outlet
I scribble here and there

As I try to keep positive
Tomorrow is another day
Maybe poems will build
Like steps along the way

Sounds familiar.
I have lots of unfinished poems. So many, in fact, that I maintain a folder called "poems in process".
When I can't think of a new subject, I refer to that folder. I finished and submitted one of them early this morning. (named "God Only Knows")
I think it was too early in the morning.
