Sky Of Contrasts
12 December, 2007

Winter has already imbedded
itself in the crisp air.
I see the breathing patterns
of people,
like fine swirls of insence
flowing in the chilling air.

The November skys
present layers
of very dark cloud,
very dazzling white cloud,
and mid tones of soft charcoals.
The skys change formations and I see
shapes and faces and stories
in them.
Yet the contrasts
remain and the brilliant lighting
entertains the sky watchers,
as well as emitting that eerie twilight
glow of a neverland season.

I reflect on the contrasts in my life,
my experiences during this past year,
in this season of in between,
I, too, am in between getting out
of the negative charges,
the darkness that I fear,
getting into positivitys,
and lightness and
velvet darknesses that soothe me...

I breathe in crisp air and
peaceful energetic possibilities.
My breath mingles with the cold air
and drifts
upwards,
then disappears
into the
world between seasons.
