Her Luring Beauty

Look at that beauty, in the dark forest amonst the logs
Her flower, a brilliant sun yellow, growing in the bogs
Looking like a big yellow sail, or hands cupped in prayer
Irrisistible, I'll pick some, it's beauty I'll layer
Ah, a handful, so happy, now one-big-sniff
Gag! What have I done? A putrid-stink-whiff
My hands, stained with slim of it's juices
The aroma of a skunk cabbage! I drop it, it's useless
I run to wash it off, through tall weeds
I'm stung all over the face, sting nettles, like bees
My eyes swelling shut, again through more tall leaves
I'm clubbed in both arms, thousands of needles stuck, I believe?
I'm in devil's club! I'm starting to heave
Running for my life, tangled in thorn vines, trying to leave
Plowing through sharp thorns, cutting across my neck
Ear to ear, blood oozing, oh what the heck!
Reaching my destination, Help me please! 9-1-1
What happen? Your a bloody mess, son of a gun
Don't mess with her! Her luring beauty is deceiving
I entered too deep, paid the price, and the pain of escaping
