can't stop thinking to sleep
can't think straight need sleep
can't sleep gotta think
answers wrong in my head
maybe right, left up down 'nuff said?
no not yet
gimme a sign
too damn late
should be asleep by this time
give me a what? who?
what the hell was that?
headache feeling like a baseball bat
smack to the head
but I'm not dead; just in pain
pressure on my brain
throbbing never stopping
pills not the answer, now stomach hurts
gotta get up tomorrow and do work
get up or just go to work?
depends if I get to sleep in the first
place. This race is fast paced
too many obstacles to jump, a road with too many bumps
Twelve hours at a time? Are they out of their minds?
Employers don't care about your quality of life
make them money
show up don't bitch
work for 30 years
digging your ditch
before you retire they'll shit-can you
forgetting all the bullshit you went through
push push push
but how far is too far?
how far can you shove until we break?
there's a chance you take of a quasi civil war
between the stuck up rich and the overworked poor
they're more of us than there are of you
one way or another what goes around comes around
when the time is due.
