From My Soul

Make me laugh again, like you always did.
I miss your zany wit and comic ways.
Tell me off again, for switching off my mobile
I miss your frustration at my busy run around days.

Make me smile again, when you talked to me on the phone.
I miss your endearments, from your heart they’d flow.
Lift me up again, like you did when I was feeling down.
I miss your comfort for things only you could know.

Fill my brain again, with your lively conversation.
I miss your exchanges and discussions running deep.
Fire my thoughts again by encouraging a challenge.
I miss your optimism when the learning curve was steep.

Hold my hand again like you did wherever we strolled
I miss the contentment of having you so near.
Melt my heart again, when you whispered to me softly.
I miss the warm and tender feeling we both held so dear.

Touch my cheek again as you did when we first met.
I miss your soft caress, oh how good it felt.
Look into my eyes again, you saw into my soul.
I miss your smiling face and in those eyes I’d melt.

Kiss my neck again and you’d know I was yours.
I miss that tingling feeling making me shiver.
Kiss my lips again as you did with such passion.
I miss those special moments that made me quiver.

Rock my world again, as only you knew how to.
I miss your very being, I can’t bear us apart
Love me again please stay with me forever.
I’ll always miss you darling, but you’ll stay in my heart.
