That bed, twenty years you've been with me, to speak
Hard and lumpy, concave now squeak
Tossing and turning, ouch! A spring it blew
Ah, flip it over, it's just like new
Squeak, ring! What's that? Oau-wee!
We need a new bed, this is fine was free
Tossing and turning, ouch! That one drew blood
That's it! Out the door as we lug
You bought a new bed! Top of the line
So tall, so soft and plush, so fine
Can't believe for twenty years we've suffer
On that hard, lumpy, poke spring with no buffer
Can I have it? Your kidding? Not!
I love it! It's better then what I got
You can have it, it's my pleasure
Go figure, "One man's junk, another man's treasure"

Another Dreamer's Launching Pad

Dino, I had one of those back eating, leg numbing beds and it came to, do I want to sleep or be the deomon's curse in the morning! I couldn't take its painful caress one more night. Out it went, and that same day, on my way back home, I saw my old mattress in the back of a pick-up truck, heading towards some Heavenly, place, I guess. Go figure. God have mercy upon their backs!

Terrific description of one's hard, night life!

Thank You and sleep well.

Martin

Heavenly is right!

Ah, the confortable sleep now, aches and pains in morning are no more. Money worth spent. Yet, to see that it still had life to give, for someone in need, maybe serve them for another twenty years? Thanks for your nice comment Martin, and I have been sleeping well. Sleep well too! ZZZzzzzz
