Why did God take you?
I want my Mother.
I can't believe you are not here.
I can't get use to not seeing your face.
Before you died I told you that you were the love of my life and that when my time
came I would find you again " and I will".
Its the time between then and now that's so hard.

****

I said I'd live,
Be strong,
I'd smile at life,
And carry on,
But my heart reminds me
That your gone.
I'll play lifes game,
Inside I'll die,
Shut my eyes,
I will not cry,
To the outside world
I must lie,
Because your gone.
Because your gone,
I'm hurting with a pain I can't describe,
I feel my world breaking,
Life forever taking things away.
I shut my eyes,
And there you are,
Like magic your not too far.
I don't know what to do,
Every day thoughts of you,
Because your gone.

****

Mum,

I'm finding this so hard. I feel so many different emotions.
I will see you again, but for now I know I have to let you go.
You will be with me all my living years.
I will smile and cry at things that remind me of you.
I Love you, sleep with the angels.

------- Author's Notes -------

My Mother passed away in April 2007, our favourite song over that passed year had been "Snow Patrol * Chasing Cars*." My Mum wanted to do it on her own, without anyone or anything, she lay there, and we sat with her, and forgot the world . Listen to the song it will make sense.
