Can I Say Goodbye

How can I give this up?
Can I forget this love?
The laughs we shared
The warmth in your arms...

In time can I tell myself
That there will be someone else?
To love me right
And never let me go...

There's pain burning inside
A heart that's broken
Love left to be unspoken, I cry
I never meant to say goodbye

Can tomorrow bring me light?
Can my heart win this fight?
Leave it all behind
Let the future come rushing in...

I wish I'd never have to let go
I've got to push myself away, though
I must push myself away

From this pain burning inside
My heart that's broken
Love left to be unspoken, I cry
I never meant to say goodbye

I never want to say goodbye

LinzAy,i enjoyed all your posts love your writin'
even through all the emotions that the heart suffers in the battle we must allow tears to flow they offer a spiritual cleansin' for our soul tomorrow brings better light a promise if we never shut ourself out to someone new in our worst times we become our worst enemy but we can help build ourselves stronger as we surrender to the pastGod walks us through it he has better plans
