Far But Within

Her soul is inside mine, her corpse is not.

Every night words come out of my mouth,
Murmuring her name before I close my eyes.
In my heart, her soul sings love lullabies,
Like a hammock, it swings me to my shut eyes.

Every morning the happy bluebells wake me,
I gaze out of the window and see her shadow sitting.
Her pen yearns to regurgitate a Triolet on the step,
It wiggles and sways like a dangerous Rattle snakeā€¦

Promptly, I realize that my friend still cares for me.
