The Meaning

It’s the sadness of a rainy day
Erased by the sun breaking through the clouds

It’s all the arguing and bickering
Made sweet by the open arms of forgiveness

It’s the stress of endless, sleepless, nights
To see your child smile for the first time

It’s yearning for a love you cannot have
Yet daring still to love

It’s nights I cannot remember
With friends I will never forget

It’s the failure
That makes your strive to be better

It’s pain and hurt and loss
And one touch heals it all

It’s not what you go through during life
But what you have at the journeys end.

And laugh aloud at death and shout
You cannot break my spirit

Nor the bonds of friendship I have forged
Nor Silence the voice of my pen

You cannot stop me from loving
For it is these things that matter

These I have where ever I shall go
For not even you death
Can ever take my soul

Glad to see you're back. This seems to be a new writing style, but it's great. Bipe
