Murder
8 June, 2008
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

Her blood upon your hands
her life, stolen of innocent youth
with one last look over your shoulder
you walk away

Your rage is calmed
and realization sinks in
you wonder what now
wondering what you were thinking

Evidence washed away
clothing disposed
you wait and wonder
what now

Your guilt in a single fingerprint
in blood upon the wall
no more secreted rage
you now ponder from your cell
