Spring Time Lapse
9 June, 2008

Bright green grass
where charcoal pollution tinged
mounds of snow hills lay
just a short series of pictures ago.
Specks of pelting snowflakes
creating their own revolutions
lie in frozen moments in my photos,
which lie concealed in my house.

On this spring morning,
much rain is expected.
An overwhelming week
of breathless nights,
and dreams and more dreams
of unscripted episodes, and sounds.

Four AM and I am exhausted.
Cool air is pushing its way into these rooms.
I have not written in awhile,
blocked by too many things to say.

Tme lapse sequences of seasonal changes
have surprised me.
The air of spring is almost frightening,
for in it the strong sense of winter still prevails,
and the scorching airs of summer await.

I seek to free myself of many nightmares,
help myself.
Time lapse pictures of spring awakening
race throughout the city.
Soon lilac scents will send fragrances
everywhere.

I remain shrounded
in winters blanket of ice cold.

Yet,
if you were still here,
I would be frozen !
