Real Love
28 August, 2008
Author: Eve H & Dan H

“Love means never having to say you’re sorry”
That’s what the movies say,
But how real are the movies?
This is not what true love is about.
We all do things that hurt one another,
It is only right to say we’re sorry.
I need to replace my wants with, our needs.
Happiness is in giving, not receiving.
Love has its ups and downs, its highs and lows,
Whether on a high or on a low
Whether on a up or a down
Love must have life; otherwise it is not love.
We must stop accepting the counterfeit.
Real love is alive, real love is forever.

Pronoun shift

Yes, love has to be true. You know it's love because there is a change in pronouns from "I" to "we." Nice.
