Still Leaves Me Questioning
7 September, 2008

Having read between the lines
You never need to apologise
Your silence spoke volumes
In fact more than you realise

Saying you are sorry too often
That has been a tell tale sign
Apologies you have repeated
I've read them time after time

Sorry can be so difficult to say
Still this came natural for you
When trying to make amends
Were all those apologies true

I guess you have your reasons
When you offer your apology
Still it leaves me questioning
How sorry could you truly be
