When The Devil Creeps
2 October, 2008

Our children are not safe
when the devil creeps.
He lurks around our neighborhoods
while in bed we sleep.

He prowls through the darkness
searching for his prey.
Now a child is stolen
leaving a family in dismay.

He eats away their innocence
he devours their life.
Cutting a family apart
like a sharp-edged knife.

He hungers once again
needing to be fed.
Stealing another child,
and leaving them for dead.

Always check your windows
lock your doors up tight.
The devil is out there creeping
somewhere in the night.

------- Author's Notes -------

This just breaks my heart to know we have people like this in our world. I can't believe someone would want to hurt an innocent child, it makes me sick inside to know people like this exist. Always keep your doors locked tight and your eyes opened, our children are not safe in this world.

Didn't really know which category to put it under, but I hope it reminds us to pay close attention to who, and whats around us.

Yes the devil wonders through the night catching us off guard, but we do have the most powerful weapon in Jesus to save us from this snake. He will try to make everything look good to suck us into his world.
God bless
Marty
