Are you planning to write
Maybe you had nothing to say
I have not written either
Though I thought of you today

I was still longing to write
Knowing time was passing by
If I was to remain silent
Would you be wondering why

Should I continue to write
Perhaps I had left this too late
Was it worthwhile asking
Did you want to communicate

I tell myself I should write
Still would it get me anywhere
I just wanted you to know
Silence has been hard to bear
