A Dozen Thoughts As You Marry

First, Be true to one another.
Second, Listen to your hearts.
Third, Consider carefully your actions.
Fourth, Plan even the small things,
as they concern both of you,-
don't try to do it all alone.
Fifth, Accept and appreciate
whatever joy enters your lives.
Sixth, discuss, verbalize, talk, explain,
wonder, explore, question... together.
Seventh, Trust your gut feelings;
you will not always be right,
neither will you always be wrong.
Eighth, Give your emotions freedom;
smile, shout, hug, cry,
as you feel is necessary.
Ninth, Be there for the other;
always remember you are not alone,-
you are one half of a perfect set.
Tenth, Give warmth and care and protection
to each other.
Eleventh, Take nothing in your lives for granted,-
ever.
Twelfth, Handle one trial at a time,
always living one day at a time.
