I wait at the beach for you
Where the oceans kiss the sands
The winds stir through my hair as I stand there
And envelope the heart in my hands

It's chilly at first but I know
Waiting for you will lead to warmth
I stare at the sea, waiting for thee
To show with your love at the shore

I've been waiting since sunrise for love
Where the skies turned from black then to blue
Clouds have passed by in the bright light blue sky
I'll wait until dusk just for you

The waves try to touch my toes
Just as I, reaching out to find your love
But just as I jump away I realize you've done the same
And I'm left with love I can't let go of
