The way you look at me
The way you talk down to me
Bitch
Sticks and stones
They are merely words
Lies
Words are all there is
I don’t know how to choose my battles
I want to fight them all
I’m all I have
Garnish my self esteem
Thus increasing your own
I use this hatred as inspiration to succeed
But this negativity is suffocating
I want to overcome this
Overcome you
Let you know that your actions don’t matter
Yet you control me completely
Your hostile nature reminds me of Her
Discount my feelings
Disregard my thoughts
The nourishment I received from her bosom
Reject
Steadiness makes me suspicious
Stability, a foreign land
Your hypocrisy is precariously refreshing
Your dishonesty a familiar face
I am not sure with whom I am more disgusted
You
Or me
