Welcome To My Life

Welcome to my life
The fear, the sadness, the hurt, and the anger make the plot
A constant worry, and betrayal all in one spot
No words, no feelings; no voice
Afraid--afraid of every waking move, step, and breath I take
Hiding out, running, escaping; a choice
"Please God, make it stop..." I pray
Happiness so far out of reach, screams stay
Longing for numbness to mask the hurt...
Rain outside is soothing;
I can feel the coldness of every drop as I become colder inside
A blood-stained world; nowhere to hide
Music and humor subside--subside the sublime
Silence is everlasting, guilt is rejuvenated
Sobbing becomes a habit; dehydrated
Resentment ignites a gray point of view
Consumptions of sickness and disgust
Relying on no one; no trust
Words are locked inside my head
Memories never fade, I see red
A cycle of fear, sadness, hurt, and anger; immortal
Falling in a black hole--a void; a portal
Welcome to my life
