traveling
To me this seems like the person is leaving family behind without knowing when she will return.. Good things about writings they can mean something so different to who ever reads the writing.. I like it's melancholy feel..

It is very melancholy, that feeling of leaving someone behind and nights spent alone thinking of them. I am glad you understood and could relate :)
