I was so in love with you.
With the words I let blind me, the moments of affection I let guide me.
I was so in love with you.

But just as you saw in me, I experienced another side of you.
The hurting kind I never thought you would be towards me.
After all, you claimed to love me...
I now realize you can't love without trust, and you can't trust without the true desire to.

I loved you more than my words allowed me to express, more than my hands allowed you to feel.
But the simple fact that I loved you never satisfied your hungry heart, the beast inside of you.

It really is sad...that someone could give so much of themselves and still never be appreciated.
But with two sides to every story...I'm sure you felt the same.
