Dragon And Snake
Author: Pondering Red
Last night into early morning dawn,
our words came out
like blasts from a cannon,
Bang Boom !!
And my head flooded
no peace no peace no peace !!
Like a wounded serpent,
along my usual path
towards the concrete glass fortress.
Snow cool on my scales,
the venom slowly sputtering out
until I became weak.
I became the dragon,
giving rain when lands are dry,
showers to moisten the earth .
The speed at which the dragon
entered the city was exhilarating.
Now, breathing more peace
clarity and calm comes easier.
It comes with little thought,
with the embrace of the quietness
and the white and coloured noises
that contain the sounds of space,
and perhaps the galaxies and so...
I am my self
maybe even better,
after the bombs dropped,
soon after the lands were destroyed,
for today ,
for this very moment,
the dragon sleeps.
