Icy Path

The first snowfall -
light large snows -
my solitary footsteps -
the warmth of this blanket -
winters entrance !

Inside the dwelling -
my breath visible -
the ghost of you
wandering through these rooms -
icy walls.

I slide and fall
and get up again and again
on the slippery paths that you leave.
I sometimes glide
when
an air of peace and good solitude
resides in these once colourful rooms.

Sun peeks throught windows of moisture -
droplets of frozen snow stick
to the glass.

I immerse my self in the moment -
natures smiles all around .
