Even The Mighty Lion Bleeds
27 April, 2002
Author: Don Fraser
Yes even the mighty lion bleeds from it's wounds,
but if he keeps licking them they may disappear.
But it is not that way with me,
my heart bleeds and longs for your return.
If I could only lick my wounded heart
and make the pain go away,
I would do it gladly.
But it seems I will have to suffer
the pain of your absence for the rest of my life.
It makes the wound worsen
knowing you have left me for another.
I cannot remove this wound.
But I can remove myself.
Goodbye my lost love.
