Hungry For Life
Hungry for life,
Yet my hands are tied
As I strive, to live life
My dreams of success lead me to defeat.
For those whom are aimed for perfection
Notice only their failure in their reflection.
Hungry to reach the sky’s,
Respect from all, It is I
I want them to idolize.
But dare I take the time to prioritize?
Through the gates of hell
My dreams fell.
The blood threw my veins boil
For my heart is soiled.
Never to know love
Because my soul has become numb
As the clock quickly ticks the years by
as I soon ask the question what have I done with my life?
My lungs empty of breath
Full of the worthlessness of the riches’ stress.
